Ultimate Guide :How to configure Mozilla Firefox profiles One of the greatest feature of Mozilla Firefox is to use its user profile feature efficiently.

Everyone in this world is individual with his/her own interests and secrets.

So everyone needs his/her own configuration on his/her browser, but it ain't possible always

as there are multiple users and you can't restrict everybody.

Also you may be the lone user but you may need multiple configurations because of your multitude interests.

Another reason to create a profile is to password protect your saved configurations from others.

So here are some steps you guys can follow to create and customize your profile.

Go to start and then run and type following if you use Windows:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\

It will show your default profile.

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
It will simply will take you to location here profiles are saved.

For creating new profile go to run and type :

Firefox.exe -profilemanager

Then you will see a similar window like below containing options create profile , renaming profile and delete profile, since you never made one so it will contain only one profile by the name of default.

Now you create new profile or rename the existing one.

You can check the option to set your default profile or can keep the option of asking each time. Another option which you can utilize is that you can load your backup profile if you carry one.

If you don't have one you can simply make a newer by using a tool Mozbackup. It is advisable to backup your profile because it makes your setting portable wherever you go you can simply carry this backup with you either in any portable device or upload it to your safe hosting space on internet. You gotta save it because it contains all those important details like passwords, your browser configurations, websites personal settings and cookies.

Next time whenever you wanna restore your profile backup you open the Mozbackup and check the restore option and simply provide the path to backup file's location. Restart Firefox and simply see the magic.

Another thing u must take care of because of security reasons is to password protect your profile by creating a master password.

For that go to Tools-->Options-->Security and check master password button and a pop up will come asking you for password.

Enter password and next time whenever you or anybody will visit your critical pages suppose your adsense account you will be asked to enter the password.

Now run your lyrics as subtitles in your favorite videos..... Ever since I am on internet I always wanted to see my favorite music videos with lyrics burnt into it. I tried to find out solutions or other possible sort outs. But there is no way I can burn lyrics in videos without burning into the DVD. But I want to tell somewhat easier n bit tedious way to watch your favorite music videos with lyrics embedded in videos.

First of all download the lyrics file from internet(just Google it, you'll find it there are zillions of subtitle websites). I like metal music so I tried to find out the Revolution begins by Arch Enemy(Really good metal band from Sweeden).

Now edit your text files according to following format Number HH:MM:SS,Microseconds Lyric line no.1

{H:Hour M:Minute S:Seconds Microseconds (just put 000) }
Just look in pic.

After finishing save it as it with .srt extension. For VLC n Gom Player

just drag n drop this .srt file in video.

For Media Player Classic save subtitle file with exactly same name as video file n it will automatically play lyrics if subtitle file is placed in same directory. This is it for now.

Open Office 2007 files in Office 2003 You all must have faced this problem at least once, i.e. opening office 2007 files in older versions.
Actually there is new button (resembling windows button in looks) which you can click and save it as according to your preferences such as 97-2003 document which is compatible for older Office packages. But people does not recognize this button and save their document in default extensions

such as .pptx or .docx etc, which are not compatible in Office 2003 package.

But now you have one option through which you can open .pptx or .docx files in older office packages (Other than office 2007) also. Offcourse new office 2007 is smarter than previous versions but its not that much distributed. By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able to open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007. The Compatibility Pack can also be used in conjunction with the Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003 to view files saved in these new formats. It's just around 28 MB file you have to download and install.

Remove Vocals From MP3 Using Audacity I have never posted post like this before. But I propose this blog as your personal tech help blog.

Sometimes we prefer listening theme music mp3s or songs with just music, but there are not enough music files available of this kind, and also you not always get your own choice song. But this post can help you converting your mp3 files in just music files.

You must have heard about Audacity, it is very good audio editing

software. Know more http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ For a file to convert it must be stereo file means it should not be a mono song consisting of only one track.

ou can check if after opening mp3 in audacity shows two tracks hen it is a stereo file. Now click on arrow (See in pic left corner) and click split stereo files.
Now you have two tracks. Click on the second anywhere in information box and entire song will be selected. Now click effects and the invert .

Now again click on downward arrow and click mono to make a single file.

Save the project as mp3 and you have nearly a music file without vocals. Now further experiment with your file for further reduction by going into amplify under effects tab.

Multiple Login To Messangers I know you (Not all of you) must be having multiple mail IDs for IMs i.e. for chatting. If you are one them then I am going to help you Chatting addicts by my this post.

This trick will enable you to use more than one account in any Messenger. It’s really very simple to do. A small registry hack is needed to do it. I am doing this for Yahoo messenger, you can do it for others.

Now, open your Registry Editor (Run > type regedit) and follow path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yahoo\pager\Test

Right click anywhere and select New > DWORD Value.
Name the entry as “Plural” (Without the quotes). Double-click the newly made entry (Plural), and assign it a value 1.
That's it just log in to yahoo messenger to check.

HIDE YOUR ENTIRE DRIVE(IMPROVED EASIEST METHOD) I have posted similar tutorial HIDE ENTIRE DRIVE. But the tutorial I am gonna post today is the easiest and ost secure of all. Hide entire drive in few step n CMD window.
So here we go:-

Open the CMD window. Go to Start-->Run--> Type cmd-->enter.
Now type list volume. Note the volume that you wanna hide.

Suppose in my case it is D having volume 3.

Now select the desired volume.

type select volume 3 and enter

Now type remove letter D for hiding D in our case.

Exit CMD and your drive is invisible.
You make a search everything possible you won't find it until unless you unhidden it.

For that go through same steps and write assign letter D in place of remove letter D.

HIDE YOUR FOLDERS IN FEW SECONDS (USING CMD) I am posting the easier or the easiest, most confirming tutorial to hide your personnel documents or folders. Once again its my friend SACHIN who told and I decided to share with you guys.
So here we start:

Go to run and type cmd or directly open Command prompt.
For instance I want to hide tvroom folder.
Now write :
See tvroom folder is gone.
Now to get back folder write:attrib -s -h E:\tvroom

You can make a search to test the hidden file, you wouldn't find the file.
Now I will tell you the logic behind the scene. Microsoft people provide its users a feature through which sensitive Operating System files can be hide by adding attribute +s where s stands for system file and +h.

HIDE ENTIRE DRIVE Yes its true, its complex but it works fine. Nor one can search your drive neither one can find it by deactivating hidden options. It works.
But I tell you one thing you would have to be extremely careful while performing this tutorial because its question of REGISTRY.
So here we go:

Now go to the Registry Editor program, running regedit in cmd .(run window)

Now follow the path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explore

Right click on the Explorer folder and select New > DWORD Value, select Decimal.

Now select decimal value and give the no according to the drive you want to hide.

A=1, B=2, C=4, D=8, E=16, F=32, G=64, H=128, I=256, J=512, K=1024, L=2048, M=4096, N=8192, O=16384, P=32768, Q=65536, R=131072, S=262144, T=524288, U=1048576, V=2097152, W=4194304, X=8388608, Y=16777216, Z=33554432, All drive=67108863
These are the values for various drives.
Now suppose you want to hide multiple drives suppose D and E then give value as 8+14 that is 24.

Now click OK and restart, your job is done.
Hey you are forgetting one thing how to get back your drive now enter the value 0 at the same place and you will get back your drive.

MAKE YOUR FOLDERS INVISIBLE You must have seen different methods to hide your folders, but I am showing you a real kool method which can make folder invisible.
Keep Folders Hidden

first create a new folder somewhere on your hard drive
When you name it hold down "Alt" and press "0160" this will create and invisible space so it will appear as if it has no name.
Then right click in and select "Properties" select the tab "customize" and select "change icon" scroll along and you should a few blanc spaces click on any one and click ok when you have saved the settings the folder will be invisible to hide all your personal files
